Chelsea Old Boy Speaks on David Luiz's Red card

Chelsea

Ex Chelsea baller Ray Wilkins talked about David Luiz’s sending off at an interview with talkSPORT, his comments are entirely bizarre.

Wilkins really knows Chelsea FC like the back of his hand as he has been employed as both a player as a coach with the club Chelsea. Currently, he works as a pundit and sticks to discussing current affairs at the club, rather than being a part of them.

His comments are about Luiz’s red card. The Brazilian defender was sent off in the 87th minute of Chelsea’s match against Arsenal on Sunday, which ended the hope that we had of taking all three points from the contest.

Wilkins has a theory as to what was going through Luiz’s head at the time of the incident, and it’s a definite eyebrow raiser. According to talkSPORT  Wilkins said:

It was an atrocious tackle. He either wants to hurt Kolasinac, or he’s afraid. I’ll go for the latter. He saw him coming towards him and thought, ‘wow, this fella is a giant’ and he basically wet himself.

The Chelsea old boy believes that the combative and courageous Luiz was intimidated by the gigantic Kolasinac and proceeded to ‘wet himself’. We’re not so sure about that one, Ray.
