Ghana Cuts Super Eagles Wings in WAFU CUP Finals

WAFU CUP

The Black Stars of Ghana has become the winner of the 2017 WAFU CUP of Nations. The Host Country, Ghana has just won this competition for the second time as they humiliate Super Eagles Home base 4 goals to nil.

The Super Eagles won Ghana in the group stage of the WAFU CUP but surprised everyone in today’s match by becoming a slave to Ghana in the Pitch.

15th minutes of the first half, a thunderous shot was sent out from the leg of Emmanuel Lomotey but was wayward.

The Nigerian team played as if they have not trained together before. No sign of professionalism in the game. It was a party of misunderstanding between the Nigerian players, which made ways for the Black Stars of Ghana to find the back of the net four times.

The Super Eagles shot-stopper tried his best to deny the Ghanaians from locating the net. Although they later did, Ezenwa showed how good he is.

The first goal scored by Stephen Sarfo, a minute before the end of the first half was caused by the defenders as they stood at attention for the Ghanaian striker to have his way.

Though the second goal scored by Atingah through a penalty, which wasn’t like a penalty as the tackle was made between the outside of the eighteen-yard box and the penalty box, but the referee gave a penalty as he has the final say.

Patrick, who was introduced to the second half of the WAFU CUP finals, came like a beast that is unleashed to devour the Super Eagles by demolishing the Super Eagles defense with his pacey and strong body.

Patrick gave his side two penalties and an assist that made them score the fourth goal, while Ali was able to score an eye-catching free kick, which made people ask why he never took all the free kicks by himself.

Ghana has succeeded in hosting the WAFU CUP of Nations and lifting it for the second time.
