Plateau United- The New Champions of Nigeria
Plateau United lifted the 2016/2017 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) title after winning Enugu rangers 2-0 on Saturday.
Plateau United has become the 19th club to win the Nigerian Professional Football League. Emeka Umeh and Benjamin Turba scored those much-needed goals to secure the League title for the team and also Plateau United has gone home with the some of Fifty million Naira.
Plateau United and MFM FC will now represent Nigeria in the 2017/18 CAF Champions League tournament.
