Why Lopetegui is the right man for Real Madrid job

After Zidane’s successful stay at Real Madrid and his resignation, the Spanish giant has decided to hand over the affairs of the club into the hands of another known as Spain coach Julen Lopetegui. Julen will replace Zinedine Zidane as Real Madrid coach after the Russia 2018 World Cup.
 

“Real Madrid announces that Julen Lopetegui will be the coach of the first team during the next three seasons. Julen Lopetegui will join the club after Spain’s participation in the World Cup, after two years leading the national team,” Real said in a statement.

This declaration came immediately after Lopetegui extended his contract as Spain coach until 2020 in a pre-World Cup boost for one of the tournament favorites. He was given the position after Spain gave a poor display at the Euro 2016 in France when they were eliminated in the last 16.

Will Lopetegui leave up to expectation? This is the question in the lips of Football fans. Before the appearance of the legendary Zidane, many coaches came and gone, none created such record like that of Zidane in the club. 

This will be a big task for the new man, handling both international and club duties, unless he has strategic plans to employ.

Vicente del Bosque, who led Spain to victory at the 2010 World Cup and Euro 2012, also been in charge for the disappointing group stage exit at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Zidane quitted Real Madrid on May 31, saying “i have decided to leave at the top and it’s time for a change for myself and the club.” He also admitted he was unsure of his ability to maintain his winning record at Real.

If you’d ask me, I’ll say, it’s the best decision he made by leaving while the ovation was still high.
